STATEMENT OF INTENT

We want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to keep our staff, contractors and customers safe whilst we work during the current Covid-19 situation. We are a “Covid Secure” company.

We are following all the latest Government advice so that we can continue to make homes energy efficient, and ensure we are doing our utmost to limit the spread of the virus.

Due to our work being “zero contact” between our staff and customers, and because we will diligently follow Covid Secure guidelines, we are confident that risk of virus transmission to staff and customers is very low.
  • We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace
  • Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk


RESPONSE MEASURES: SAFETY OF OUR STAFF, CONTRACTORS & CUSTOMERS 

When we book your appointment for either a survey or for the work to be carried out, we will ask you if:
  • You or anyone in your home has been diagnosed with Covid-19
  • You or anyone in your home is displaying symptoms of Covid-19
  • You or anyone in your home is self-isolatinG
  • Anyone in your home is at higher risk – e.g. over 70, diabetic etc

We will also call you on the day of your appointment and ask the same set of questions, in case anything has changed since you booked.

We will not book or attend appointments in households that have a member with Covid-19, displaying symptoms of Covid-19 or is self-isolating. In households with members at higher risk, we will book and attend appointments but even greater attention to hygiene will be taken.


SURVEYS
Our staff will socially distance at all times during the appointment, resulting in zero contact between our staff and customers. The majority of our home energy surveys take place outside of the property. For aspects of the survey that require us to come into the property our staff will wear face masks and gloves. During the appointment you will be asked to stay in a different room.

We will ask for any conversation that needs to occur between our staff and customers to be conducted outside, if practical, for added precaution.


INSTALLATION
Our installation technicians are contracted by Energy Won from trusted partner organisations who adhere to the strictest of Covid Secure guidelines. Installation technicians will socially distance at all times during the work, , resulting in zero contact between our staff and customers. The large majority of our installation works takes place outside of the property. For minimal aspects of the installation that require us to come into the property our staff will wear face masks and gloves. During the work you will be asked to stay in a different room.

We will ask for any conversation that needs to occur between our staff and customers to be conducted outside, if practical, for added precaution.
